Description

This listing is for our Japanique Robe - a vintage Japanese kimono that we have shortened to make it easier to wear as a robe or a long tunic over western clothes.

This Japanique Robe is a heavier weave - better for chilly days! - and the patterning and color is quite subtle, so difficult to capture in the photos. The base is an ivory and gold weave and the tiny florals are woven in silver. The lower lining and back of the belt are a light celery green silk.

There are two snaps along the inside of the collar that help the collar stay folded in half. See last photo.

We modified the length to 45" and made a matching belt from the remnant.

Our Japanique Robes also look great worn open as a kimono style long jacket.
