Haori himo are the braided or woven cords that tie together at the front of a traditional haori jacket. Men's haori himo are longer, wider, and with bigger tassle ends than women's haori himo.

This listing is for a pair of man's semi-formal haori himo ties in an unusual color.  The purplish cast to the dark brown base makes us think of a raspberry mocha! 

Men's haori usually come pre-tied, as shown. This special knot is difficult to master, so little hooks are used to attach the himo to the loops on the haori front collar without having to untie it. We don't recommend untying it.

Men's haori himo are typically 13-15 inches long and about three-quarters of an inch wide, but this can vary by a few centimeters.
