This listing is for a black silk, semi-formal, traditional Japanese haori jacket, meant to be layered on top of a kimono. These make great evening jackets for a party, exhibition, or any special event.

This haori is a gorgeous example of urushi weaving, where the silk threads are wrapped in red lacquer before weaving. The array of large, floral-filled circles offers so many interesting designs - which makes this haori a wonderful display piece when it isn't being worn.
