"Raspberry Fog" Semi-Formal Kimono

This listing is for a woman's traditional semi-formal vintage kimono. If the sleeves were longer, this would be a furisode, formal kimono.

This kimono features a light blue background behind a deep raspberry pink fog pattern filled with family crests. Floating florals in cream and pink are scattered about - daisies, plum blossoms, and more.

The patterning was designed and applied with the yuzen technique, which uses stenciling and a resist paste to color the fabric in layers and in separate steps. See the video below on the yuzen technique.
