Elegant, "Mother of the Bride" style tomesode kimono - made for formal wear.

Beautiful red-orange backdrop along the hem with cream-colored camellia and bell flowers (kikyu). Lovely yuzen design with subtle shading in blue and green. Gold and silver leaf accents. See the videos below on these techniques. Five diamond cluster crests.

A tomesode kimono is typically overall black silk with five family crests on the upper section (one at the neck, one on the back of each sleeve, one on each side of the collar) which confirms it is the highest level of formality for a kimono. The design stretches across the hemline with more image in the front, where it would be seen best, but continues across to the back.
