This listing is for a No Sew Kimono Quilt Board along with a bundle of vintage kimono fabric remnants you can use to complete the board.

The quilt board is thick foam core that is pre-cut with the design which creates the grooves that you tuck the fabric edges into. The board has a sticky surface covered with the pre-cut glossy paper pattern pieces - just remove each piece, trace the shape onto your fabric, cut with a 1/8th inch allowance, place it on the board and tuck the edges into the grooves. (The backside of seam ripper works great as a tuck tool.)

The fun - and challenging part - is to decide which fabrics to place where! We include 12 vintage kimono remnants (plenty of fabric and pattern choices) in the kit. You can choose a palette preference when you order. (If you don't specify a palette or send us an email with your preference, we'll surprise you!) See last three photos for examples of vintage kimono fabrics - your bundle will be different.

The kit will include the precut quilt board, white chipboard (to finish the back of the board), metal sawtooth wall hanger, instructions, and illustrations, as well as the fabric bundle.
