The fabric could be a silk blend - it's sturdy and smooth but comfy to wear. The background color is an indigo blue, but that only becomes apparent when you look at the backside of the fabric. The front side is almost completely covered by a layered print. A fractured glass design with each fragment filled with a tiny net motif is the first layer. On top of that is an arabesque, curling floral pattern designed in such a way that the curves seem to lift above the fabric - creating a three-dimensional effect. Very cool

We modified the length to 45" and made a matching belt from the remnant. The belt is 3" wide and 96" long -- not a wide obi-like sash you'd normally see with a kimono, but very easy to put on!
