This listing is for a Japanique Robe - a vintage Japanese unlined kimono that we have shortened to make it easier to wear as a robe or a long tunic over western clothes.

The fabric is roughly woven synthetic - warm for winter for sure. The background color is a dusty purple with a woven pattern of thin, leafy vines climbing vertically along the panel.

Understated, subtle, and cozy.

We modified the length to 45" and made a matching belt from the remnant. The belt is 4" wide and 84" long -- not a wide obi-like sash you'd normally see with a kimono, but very easy to put on!

Our Japanique Robes also look great worn open as a kimono style long jacket.
