This listing is for our Japanique Robe - a vintage Japanese unlined kimono that we have shortened to make it easier to wear as a robe or a long tunic over western clothes.

The fabric is silk with a soft drape. The cream background is covered with a small fishnet motif in a wine color. Stenciled arches float along, each filled with one of two traditional motifs - seigaiha or samekomon.

We modified the length to 45" and made a matching belt from the remnant. The belt is 3" wide and 80" long -- not a wide obi-like sash you'd normally see with a kimono, but very easy to put on!

Our Japanique Robes also look great worn open as a kimono style long jacket.
