The fabric is cotton - or might be a silk-cotton blend - with a bit of texture. The weaving is a mix of purple, white and black that creats a soft gray with a purple cast. The plain, flat weave is interrupted by large floating hashtags, or perhaps they are tic-tac-toe game boards?

There are blemishes we didn't notice until after we modified the kimono - see photos. They aren't terrible and might lighten up with a gentle washing, and the price reflects the condition.

We modified the length to 45" and made a matching belt from the remnant. The belt is 2" wide and 92" long -- not a wide obi-like sash you'd normally see with a kimono, but very easy to put on!
