This listing is for our Japanique Robe - a vintage Japanese unlined kimono that we have shortened and removed the sleeves (which were damaged) to create a light summer robe that would also look great as a tunic over jeans!

The fabric is a woven blend that might include silk, but it's quite sturdy. The colors and patterning merit a closer look. Ocean tones of greens and blue mix with gold and browns in a woven grid pattern where each square is filled with an asbract, thin-petalled flower.

We modified the length to 45" and made a matching belt from the remnant. The belt is 7" wide and 53" long -- not a long obi-like sash you'd normally see with a kimono, but very easy to put on!

Our Japanique Robes also look great worn open as a kimono style long jacket.
