This listing is for a contemporary clutch purse from Japan. It could be "vintage" (maybe be from the 1980s?), but the condition is "like new". Kimono-clad women at formal events would use purses like this to accent their ensemble.

This clutch features a gold-on-ivory pattern of chrysanthemums seemingly in a godl vase, set upon a surface also mottled with gold. The background pattern continues around to the back of the purse.

The clutch comes with an attached gold chain (14" is the full length) with a clever attachment mechanism that includes a groove in the purse trim. Inside you'll also find a silk lining with patch pocket.

Approximately nine inches long and six inches wide.

Excellent condition.
