This listing is for a woman's vintage Japanese summer cotton kimono - called a yukata. They are casual, unlined, and worn for summer festivals or as casual robes inside the home. They're also often offered to guests in Japanese inns and hotels.

This yukata is real shibori - traditional Japanese tie-dye - with a design made up of thousands of tiny dots as a background. The foreground features plum blossoms (ume in Japanese) floating along two thin, wavering lines (called tatewaku) done in "Japanese red", which has an orange cast. The cotton is soft and light - a dream to wear!
