"Watercolor Wow" Woman's Japanique Jacket

This is a slightly modified vintage Japanese kimono jacket designed to offer a roomier fit.

We love the red and green apple colors and the watercolor effect of the design. There's a secret pocket, too!

Each Japanique Jacket starts out as a vintage michiyuki, which is a narrow jacket with snap closures meant to be worn on top of a kimono. Most vintage michiyuki won't fit larger frames, so we modified the traditional garment slightly (removed the snaps and tacked the panels back to create lapels) to make a roomier, open, flowing jacket that can fit sizes 12-18.

Our Japanique Jackets can also be crossed over and belted on a smaller sized person.

These are all one-of-a-kind jackets, so sizing will vary slightly, see measurements given.
