This listing is for a pair of vintage hakama for a small boy. These would have been worn with a formal kimono to a ceremonial event, such as Shichi-Go-San (see video below for more about this holiday),

The fabric feels like a smooth, crisp silk but it may be a blend. Dark golden brown and gray stripes with gold threads sparkling between the bands. Skirt style. Note the deep side slits which are typical of hakama, and the short back ties and extra long front ties.
