"Red Cranes" Wedding Kimono (Uchikake) Bright and lively mix of color and design. Look closely in the white sections to see the swirl jacquard in the silk weave, and then admire the red embroidered cranes (we' ve never seen red ones embroidered - they're usually white), and the dash of blue sky behind the green pine. This is an uchikake - meant to be worn on top of another kimono, not meant to be tied with an obi but rather draped open, mostly for picture taking. These make amazing displays.
