Women's Haori, Michiyuki, Japanique Jackets...

Vintage and Modernized - Here you'll find a mix of style options.  All of these jackets were designed to be worn atop a kimono.  

• Haori are not meant to cross over in the front and they do not take a sash.
• Dochugi do cross over and can be fastened with sewn in ties; they offer extra room and will fit better than haori for sizes 14-18.  These are grouped with the haori.
• Michiyuki have snap closures and a square, scooped or scalloped neckline
• Japanique Jackets are created by Kyoto Kimono using a michiyuki jacket as the base; we remove the front panel and add a constrasting collar from a traditional haori.
