Katagami Stencils
One of a kind authentic Japanese katagami stencils, used to create kimono fabrics between 1940 and 1960. Purchased in Kyoto in a large lot, so prices are good. Each is uniquely designed and was hand cut by punch or cutting tools, coated in persimmon juice and reinforced with a tiny silk screen. Various conditions and sizes, but all are framable - some are even usable! About 60 pieces in the collection, but when they're gone, they're gone!
