Women's Kimono

These pieces come to us from Sanae-san, who married a soldier and came to the US in the 1980's and was a koto performer in the Washington, DC area for many years.  

She is ready to part with her extensive collection - many pieces were chosen or sewn for her by her mother, who still lives in Japan.

Most were worn sparingly at performances or formal gatherings, and each reflects the refinement and taste of its owner. Enjoy!
