Each kimono measures between 3 - 4 inches tall and can stand up on its own. There is an opening through the arms to feed a cording so that the kimono can also be worn a a pendant. These are not as fragile as you might imagine - I have had mine since 2003 and have worn it many times a year - never a scratch despite the occasional clunking on the table.
Lightweight but amazingly sturdy and chip resistant.
