Vintage Japanese Kimono, Obi, Fabric

Comfy, cozy silk throw - we made this one with an elegant masculine feel, because the man cave gets chilly sometimes too.

The pieced panels run horizontally on one side, vertically on the other.

We paired two kimono silks that compliment each other amazingly well. The striped cream-gray-tan panels have a very cool coin pattern in the weave - not very visible when viewed straight on but angle it a bit and you'll see it.

The gray "solid" is actually a pine needle jacquard, brought out to a very slight texture after we washed the fabric.

The batting is 100% organic cotton, soft and comfy. Everything was washed before construction so the fabrics are soft.

The layers are tacked with a simple stitch throughout. Can be cleaned with a gentle hand washing and fluffed in the dryer.
