underkimono with a small repeat pattern of tiny fans each nestled in their own diamond shape formed by pine needles. Half of the fans have been hand-tinted in blues, greens and reds. This is synthetic fabric -- note the shiny backside in the photo below - but has the woven quality of a raw silk. The bodice is lined with a fun fabric. As an underkimono, only the collar would
show and in this kimono the cotton collar has not been covered. This is also a shorter version of the kimono - makes a great robe! |
