It's so unusual to find a kimono
with a koi design, so even though this one has a few blemishes,
it's a real find! A single
stenciled carp at the front hem
jumps out of the beautiful blue
waves and towards a scattering of blossoms
on the upper kimono.
Yes, there are several
little spots
and a small hole,
but, alas, those tell their own story. Semi sheer
for summer. |

to wear, but we're not sure if it's silk or not. Silver
threads twisting in the weave will catch the light... |
