These are NOT the traditional bales of kimono that arrive by ship in plastic and baling wire. Our experience with these is that the quality and quantity of kimonos is too unpredictable, and most buyers are not prepared to do the cleaning and ironing required before a piece is revealed as trash or treasure. Kyoto Kimono Bales are pre-screened, folded and with minimal blemishing. They are ideal for quilting groups, costumers, designers, or Japanese restaurant staff, schools, and collectors. Your bale will be mixed from the inventory we have on hand, including long and short, men's and women's, obi and hakama... Give us your preferences when you order.
