A beautifully detailed hemline pattern of bamboo and an arched bridge in this basted bolt - yes, it is a bolt of kimono silk that has been cut into the appropriate panels for a kimono and basted together, but never lined or finished. This makes it easy to finish (the seam designs are aligned) or just as easily to take apart for other projects. The pattern features gold leaf outlining some of the bamboo, hand-embroidery accents, and a wonderful color mix of summer and fall.
