Custom-made Haori Jackets for Men and Women
Made to fit non-Japanese-sized people... Starting at $125
for MEN or WOMEN (men's design shown below)

A traditional style haori made to your measurements so it is guaranted to fit.
Patterns for men or women (men's kimono style has no openings under the armpit; women's style is open under the arm.)
You can request any solid color, but if you want patterns or a specific shade of color, you must choose the fabric yourself and send it to us.

The basic kimono is plain and unlined, but you can add options:
-make it silk instead of cotton for $75 more, or use your own fabric (5 yards) and save $25
-add five embroidered crests ($40 for all five, see choices below)
- add a lining (cotton for $125, silk for $200, or your own fabric (5 yards) for $100)
Your haori will have tiny loops at the front but will not include himo (ties).
Before ordering, have your measurements ready:
length (typically neck to mid-thigh), chest, waist, back (shoulder seam to shoulder seam), mid-back to wrist, and sleeve length (shoulder to wrist).

NB: "Sumo Sized" kimono (measurements greater than a 55 " chest/waist) require an additional fee. EMAIL us for a quote.

Allow 4 weeks (6 weeks for 2 or more garments) to be completed (not including shipping time). Rush orders can be requested based on seamstress' schedule for an additional $50 fee. Please email us or call (607) 765-3960 before placing a rush order.
(NOTE: If you are sending fabric, the 4 week period begins after we receive the fabric.)

Crest Choices
Add five family crests for $40 more
Make your kimono more formal (as pictured here) by adding five family crests - one at mid-back, one on the back of each sleeve and one on each side of the collar in the front. These are machine-embroidered in any color you like from the selection below.
