Policy
We accept
any non-custom* item back for any reason AS LONG AS we receive the item(s) back
within ten days of our shipping it to you, or it is postmarked within seven
days of your receipt of it. We will gladly make an exchange or refund the full
purchase price. We can sometimes extend the return policy for holiday or birthday
gifts but this needs to be arranged by email before the order is placed.Sorry,
but:
- We can only refund your
shipping costs if your order did not arrive as described on the website and
the item is returned within the ten day return policy guideline as shown above.
- We can't accept partial
returns on sets or bundles.
- Returns that arrive after
the ten-day time frame may be exchanged or refunded minus a restocking fee
of 25% for each week beyond the ten day return policy.
We appreciate getting an email
from you in advance if you are going to return an item, and we always appreciate
feedback as to why the item is being returned.
*For custom-made kimonos, haori or hakama, as well as for specialty items purchased
exclusively for a customer, returns can be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.Please
