Description

"Raking in Good Fortune" Tenugui

This vibrant design features gods associated with good fortune in a very auspicious motif that according to tradition attracts good luck and prosperity in business.  You'll notice that a traditional rake is incorporated into the design.  This rake has the power to pull in luck and prosperity

Long and narrow - about 90cm by 36cm (35+" x just over 14")
100% cotton, lightweight.
New (not vintage), printed.

Tenugui were originally meant to be hand towels or headbands, but these comtemporary versions are more often used as decor items - sometimes framed and hung or displayed as table or shelf (or keyboard) covers.

Shipping cost is included.

*NOTE:  This is a NEW, not vintage tenugui and is shipped to you directly from Kyoto via economy (SAL) airmail, which takes 2-3 weeks in most cases.  If you order tenugui along with other NY-based Kyoto Kimono items (kimono, haori, obi, fabric and pretty much everything else), please keep in mind that your tenugui will be shipped separately.
