"Semi-Formal" Man's Haori

A vintage man's kimono jacket (called a haori).

This is a semi-formal silk jacket that a Japanese man might wear over his kimono out to a reception or evening event where he was a general guest. Solid black, no crests and with a solid cream-colored silk lining.

We often get many of this type of haori in stock, so no two are exactly alike but all are black silk with white lining, and no crest.

All of the stitching is hidden, so these jackets can normally be displayed or worn (in the West, at least) either way. See the video below on how to wear traditional Japanese garments for men.
