"For the Groom" Hakama - Skirt Style
These are exactly the most traditional style of hakama pants that a Japanese groom would wear, with a black kimono underneath. Black and gray bands - crisp and to the point.
Traditional Japanese hakama are pleated pants - typically worn by Japanese men for formal occasions. They are worn low on the hips, over a full kimono.
Deep side slits allow make them "one size fits most" at the waist and hips. Lengths vary slightly, typically range from 32 - 34" (that's the outseam (hip to heel), not the inseam!) – and the length of these is 37".
If these are not long enough for you, check out our custom made hakama.
This listing is for the skirt style, with no divided pant legs. These are standard for men in Japan - without the divided legs, it is easier to wear a kimono underneath and is more comfortable if you want more freedom for the legs. We also carry the pants style whenever we can get them, and those are listed separately.
