If you're a fabric collector, artist, or crafter, you'll love these unique Japanese textiles! In each shipment, we receive a wide assortment of remnants - pieces ranging from less than a foot long to whole unmade kimono bolts 12 meters long! The width is usually the standard 13 inches, but may also be half or a third that wide. And there are always very small but lovely pieces measuring only a few inches - great for piecework and highlights! We can never predict what beautiful treasures there will be in the next shipment.
In each shipment there are also a number of pieces with signs of wear that make them unusable as garments or displays. We take these items apart, cut out the damaged portions - the rest is quite usable! -- and combine these remnants into variety packs. Great for quilting, craft work or sewing, each pack includes a wide range of weights, colors, lengths and widths. Or you can buy "damaged" kimono and obi as is and take them apart yourself! Just Email us with your preferences and we'll email you back with a details of what we have that may suit your needs.

obis, and fabric, my shipments include unusual odds and ends,
such as futon covers, tabi socks, quilted (padded) jackets, aprons,
noren, silky underkimonos, Japanese "half slips", men's
under kimono, hakama, gloves, shawls, furoshiki, obi accessories
(ties, padding, etc.), and who-knows-what else! Many of
these items are great conversation pieces, or could be used to
add an Asian accent to your decorating, displays, garments or
