"Indigo Padded" Woman's Haori

It's somewhat rare to come across a vintage cotton indigo haori in such good condition.

Just a touch of fading and pieced work on the lining, which adds character to the piece.

The outer fabric is a sturdy cotton, indigo and tan stripes.

About an inch of padding all around  - great for chilly mornings!

 Black collar suggests that it is for a man but the openings under the sleeves indicate that this jacket was made for a woman, probably a very modest, hardworking country woman.

Quite wearable but also a great addition to anyone's indigo collection.
