Beautiful gold cranes fly above a swirling water pattern.
The design was created using gold paper-wrapped threads, woven in a heavy brocade style.
Shimmering gold on a bright Japanese red with white accents to the tips of the crane wing feathers.
Heavily padded red hem. This is an uchikake - meant to be worn on top of another kimono, not meant to be tied with an obi but rather draped open, mostly for picture taking. These also make elegant displays.
This kimono ships from Japan via tracked airmail, and the shipping cost is included in the price.
