There are arrow feathers and targets, and blocks of small repeated traditional imagery - nested squares, bellflower crests, and others. There is some mottling on the silk lining that does not show through. This is typical of the starch aging in the silk over the last 40 years and does not effect the durability of the fabric. This is an underkimono - meant to be layered beneath an outer kimono such that only a bit of the collar shows. The blue collar would actually be covered by a white silk (for a formal occasion) or another color for a less formal occasion. Earth tones with dark blue collar Silk Lined?
