Bulk Sets: Black Silk Haori

We have purchased a large lot of these vintage black silk haori jackets so can offer them in the set pricing below for a limited time.

These sets are specifically attractive to Japanese restaurants for their staff and/or to display and sell to their customers.  The jackets can retail for $50-$75, depending on the jacket and the clientelle.

Each jacket  is unique but will be black silk  - either a plain weave or a jacquard with a tone-on-tone design in a traditional motif.  

They are not belted like a kimono - they are designed to fall open in the front (so you can see what is worn underneath.

Most are lined – could be a white, a pastel mix, or a brightly colored design! (We do have a limited number of unlined versions if requested.) 

Most will also have a single white mon, or family crest, at the back of the neck.

Sizes vary slightly, but all will fit size 4 to 12 (small to medium). While these were made for women, men of small or medium stature could wear them.

All were purchased at auction and are vintage, circa 1950-1970, but most were never worn.  The condition of each will be excellent.

Pricing is as follows and includes shipping in the continental US:

5 jackets:        $22 each, $110 total

10 jackets:      $20 each, $200 total

25 jackets:      $18 each, $450 total*

*For orders of 25, we can offer a mix of 13 plain black jacquards and 12 jackets with an added design element - either a metallic woven pattern or an embroidered floral pattern.
